Uninsulated Garage Roller Shutter Doors GlideRol-a-Door Garage Roller Shutter Door
The rolling code circuitry ensures fail-safe security and eliminates the risk of another handset using the same code. The Glide-a-Code transmitter, using a UHF frequency, transmits a different code after every operation. Each time the handset and the control box move on to a new setting from one of two billion codes.
The Glidermatic drive unit automatically reverses should the downward movement of the door be restricted. Guaranteed to last! Because Gliderol doors are built to take the wear and tear of life and the weather, Gliderol are able to provide some impressive guarantees. So long as the door is reasonably maintained Gliderol doors are guaranteed against all normal conditions – in the case of electrical components for 2 years, mechanical parts for 6 years and the door finish for 10 years. Available Colours Gliderol roller doors are currently available in twelve attractive colours. A colour chart is available on request.
All doors are finished in Plastisol which is an extremely hard wearing and low maintenance surface, developed by Corus plc (formerly British Steel) and guaranteed for ten years. A wet cloth is all that is normally needed to keep your Gliderol door looking like new. Technical Specifications Gliderol rollers doors are available up to 5000mm wide x 3000mm high. All are custom made to suit your exact opening and because they sit behind the brickwork they are ideal for arched and unusual garage openings. Requiring no frame, installation is easy. Whilst manual doors can be easily converted to automatic operation later, there is a significant cost saving if the unit is factory fitted at the outset.
Optional Extras Additional transmitters – extra transmitters are readily available on request. You can use up to 10 transmitters on each Glidermatic GRD unit. Dual Override – strongly recommended when alternative access to the garage is not available. Used to key operate your Glidermatic GRD operator or engage manual operation in case of power failure. Back Up Power – a wall mounted Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) will allow you to operate your door in the case of a power failure. (A separate 13 amp supply point will be required to allow trickle charging of the batteries). Household Alarm – there is a security feature that will enable the connection of a household alarm with the garage door. (Interface required by alarm supplier and any connections into alarm by them not Syston Doors) External Lighting – a small interface board will enable the owner to activate low voltage lighting when the door is activated. |
