FD Flush Steel Doorsets

Our FD Flush Steel Door takes the place of the traditional timber door and offers a good level of security.

The door skins are folded and spot welded and the door leaf is rebated on three sides.

The door also includes a variable sub-frame, which acts in two ways, to minimise and neaten the mastic gap around the doors. (Syston Doors do not include for masticing around the frame). The sub-frame also protects the fixing points from attack.

Adjustable fixing feet allow standard width doors to be used in non-standard width openings when used in conjunction with our variable sub-frame system.

Standard features include:

  • 55mm thick door leaf
  • 1.5mm thick roll formed galvanised frame
  • 1.2mm thick galvanised door skins
  • Honeycomb core
  • Full range of pedestrian or fire exit ironmongery
  • Friction Stay
  • 3 No. Stainless Steel dog bolt hinges that prevent the door leaf being lifted up
  • 15mm threshold or driveable threshold
  • Sealing strips to three sides
  • Calculated insulation rating of 2.1
  • Standard finish in light grey primer ready for on site painting (by others)

  • Mineral Wool infill to door leaf or leaf & frame to enhance insulation
