Fully Louvred Doorsets Our Fully Louvred Door are suitable for commercial and industrial applications in a wide variety of buildings. The door leaves are constructed from extruded aluminium and hung in our unique steel single rebate frames. These louvred doors can be used in conjunction with our other door ranges allowing hardware and finishes to be matched. Our louvre design allows for maximum airflow. We can also offer matching fixed louvre panels and continuous run louvres for large apertures and plant decking screening. Door Sizes Each door is custom made to suit your structural opening up to 1500mm wide x 3000mm high on single doors and 3000mm wide x 3000mm high on double doors. Leaf Specification The door leaf is constructed from aluminium 6063-T6 extrusions with a minimum thickness of 1.6mm. The louvre blades are inclined at 45 degrees and mounted at 50mm centres within a 50mm deep angle frame, which is mounted on a box section sub-frame for rigidity. Galvanised bird mesh is supplied as standard. The bottom louvre blade is extended over the outer frame to prevent ingress of water and provide drainage. Frame Specification The door frame is constructed from 1.5mm zinc protected steel formed into our standard 112mm deep single rebate frame. A250mm double rebate frame for cross cavity fitting is available at extra cost. The frame is fitted with 3 No. Class 13 Stainless Steel hinges complete with 2 No. security dog bolts. Finishes The door is supplied as standard with ‘mill’ finished aluminium leaves and grey primed frames ready for on site painting (by others). As an alternative to a fully louvred door and if less airflow is required you could always specify an FD flush door with inset louvre panels.
