Steel Rolling Shutters

We offer our traditional range of steel rolling shutter to suit all applications with manual and electrical operation.

Self Coiling (Push Up/Pull Down)

Designed for all applications with maximum recommended size of 2500mm wide x 2500mm high. These can be face fitted or fitted within the opening and use a 50mm flat faced lath or 75mm curved lath.

Openings in excess of this width can be split using fixed or removable intermediate guides.

Operation

Manually operated by means of lifting handles on the bottom rail

Single-phase electric operation is available.

Locking

Standard locking is by shootbolts to take customer supplied padlocks.

Finish

Standard finish is galvanized to all parts except roller barrel.

HP200 Plastisol finish to laths (on 75mm curved lath only) is also available in the following colours:

White; Black; Wedgewood Blue; Moorland Green; Goosewing Grey; Solent Blue; Merlin Grey; Britannia Blue; Heritage Green; Poppy Red; Terracotta; Vandyke Brown; Olive Green; Ocean Blue; Hamlet; Honesty; Jade; Mushroom; Aztec Yellow.

Hand Chain Operation

Designed for all applications with a maximum recommended size of 6000mm wide x 6000mm high these can be face fitted or fitted within the opening and use a 75mm curved lath.

Operation

Manually operated by means of continuous handchain.

Locking

Standard locking is by chainlock, which can accept a customer supplied padlock.

Finish

Standard finish is galvanized to curtain and bottom rails with remainder left primed.

Alternatively, all materials except barrel, galvanized.

Powder coated in a range of BS/RAL colours to give a durable decorative finish.

Electric Operation

Our electric steel rolling shutter is manufactured to the same high standard as our hand chain operated rolling shutter and is available for openings up to 9000mm wide x 9000mm high. (Larger openings can be accommodated)

Operation

Standard operation is by a 3 Phase & Neutral motor with low level push button control.

Single-phase operation is available but is not recommended for doors that receive frequent use.

Maintenance

All our shutters are built to last but periodic maintenance will ensure a long life and trouble free operation.

Maintenance agreements can be arranged with our Service Department.
